BPC and some Exchanging...

I got to that point in the exchange building/finishing last night when I need both a run to a fabric store and to Britex. So tonight I will run down to see if I can find something better to use than what I already have then tomorrow after work I will make a trip to Britex - I always enjoy that place so I am looking forward to visiting. Every time I walk in there it just amazes me how much stuff they have - it is quite overwhelming!!!

I also got some time in on BPC - Here is a progress snap -

I am really happy with the way that the Belle Soie is working out - and the grey/green colour is so nice!! I think I need to acquire other Belle Soie silks....... there are some really nice colours!!!!

The movie last night was "Judgment at Nuremberg" - 1961 such a powerful film with an outstanding ensemble cast - headed up by Spencer Tracy and Maximilian Schell, the cast includes Burt Lancaster, Marlene Dietrich, Richard Widmark, Judy Garland, Montgomery Clift, Werner Klempere, William Shatner and many more. It should be required viewing!!! The defense was - just following orders....and good of the state.........the reality is - when good people stand by .........and bad things are done..... it is every single silent persons fault!!!! The words ring true today as they did in the past and will in the future.......
as I believe, that we are doomed to repeat the past if we don't learn from it!!!!!

The SBQ -

Do you have any pieces that you would liked passed on to future generations as family heirlooms?

Just about any needlework piece should be passed to the future or made with the future in mind - that is why it is a good reason to initial and date pieces. I would think the family tree I did would be a good example of a piece that will go forward into the future - as it is a nice record of my family going back 2 generations back to my g-g-parents.

Woo-Hoo I found the snap of it -

Thanks for stopping by!!

Take care,
edgar
