Gentle Friends, another home run unwrapped...
"The Bishops Wife" 1947 - a winner every time, a great cast, a super story, and Gladys Cooper warms up at the end... who could ask for anything more! Highly recommended if you get the chance!

Watched last night, an all time favorite. I mean it has Cary Grant so suave! Tonight I am watching Desk Set with Hepburn and Tracy. I fall over laughing ever time Tracey says to Hepburn this is a little math test...olives and celery hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI watch this every year. One of my favorites. Cary Grant. Nuff said.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I have every seen that movie. I really like Cary Grant movies.
ReplyDeleteOne of my all-tine favorites...then, again, what's not to love about Cary LOL?? ~Robin~
ReplyDeleteWe watched that, believe it or not, for the first time a few nights ago.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites, but haven't seen it in a few years.
ReplyDeleteLove Love this movie that actors weren't that happy about it they had to rewrite lots of parts. I was disappointed one year on TCM they did not play it around Christmas week. I have the video in my library now. My favorite character is the Professor and Cary Grant.
ReplyDeleteI love that movie!!
