A Happy 4th!!

Gentle Friends, have you ever felt overwhelmed by things in general...  well, work this week is overwhelming me completely!!  So, I am just popping in to wish everyone a safe and Happy 4th of July!!!

The weather here by the Bay has been in the low to mid 80's for the last few days - and for us that was just sweltering!!  It finally broke yesterday and the fog rolled in over the City in the evening - and we are back to cool and overcast!!  This morning while I was getting ready for work, and the City was relatively quite, I could hear the plaintiff sound of the fog horns blowing down at the ocean - I love that sound as it means heavy dense fog and cool/cold weather!!  There are very limited plans in the works over the next few days - and I'll be off tomorrow and Friday, but will be back next week - thanks for stopping by, do stop again!!

Take care,
edgar

  1. Happy 4th to you, Edgar! My daughter was in SF last week and she commented about how "cold" it was - I guess living in Phoenix really does thin your blood. haha

Wishing you, Rico, and the Who hounds a happy 4 th.

I hope the Who hounds are not shaking in their booties from the sound of fireworks. Give them extra hugs.

  9. Hope you have enjoyed your long weekend! I, too, was SO, SO ready to be off for a couple days as work has been stressful. Love your exchange piece from a couple posts ago. And I agree, the Carol Burnett piece is a classic - one of my very favorite! Hallowe'en Branch is very cute. As are your pooches.

  10. Hope ya'll had a happy 4th and that the rest of the holiday weekend is filled with lots of stitching, too.

Love the description of the fog horns as the fog rolls across the city. Sounds very neat.

    Blessings always
