Hallowe'en Mystery Update

Gentle Friends I'm still stichin' away on my LK Hallowe'en piece and thought I would show an updated snaperoo of where it stands at the moment...

... it is odd to see the windows and roof sort of floating in and empty background, but I like to stitch the bits first and then do the fill stitching last.  I am still waffling in my mind about the new LK "Holly and Hearts" Christmas Mystery piece soon to be released.  From the little bit that has been shown it looks interesting, but I think I will hold off until I see the whole thing to make a decision.

That's about it for today sports fans - thanks for stopping by do stop again!!

Take care,
edgar

  1. It's looking fabulous Edgar! I love this little Halloween stitch. It's so bright and cheery. You are getting me in the mood to stitch Halloween things. I still have a patriotic piece that I am determined to finish before I move on.

Have a great week! Hugz to you.

You are doing such a wonderful job....love that owl and the one pumpkin, the other pumpkin with the teeth and eyes kind of creep me out...but then again, that is what it's suppose to do! :)

Wishing you and yours a lovely day. :)

  10. It's a clever piece and you are doing such a good job with it! How do you plan on finishing it? With that long rectangular shape, I can see it as a bell pull or wall hanging.

  11. Looks fantastic, Edgar! Each time I see your progress, I keep telling myself to get a move on mine (I'm only up to the first row of text.)
Love the haunted house pieces, and the candy corn along the bottom.
Keep up the great work. Wish I could be strong like you and the other stitchers who hold off on the mystery charts until they know the total design. I'm a sucker for these mystery things!
