Love this clip! Paul Robeson was an AMAZING person: Actor, singer, star athlete, scholar. He was one of the first African-Americans to graduate from Rutgers University, my alma mater, and he was valedictorian of his graduating class. He then went to Columbia University where he earned a law degree. I think most people know him from this beautiful scene from Show Boat, but he led rather an interesting life and is definitely a role model in many respects.
