A Little Love From a Baby Sister

Gentle Friends, one of the great pleasures of my life is my baby sister.  Every now and then a box of fun things arrives...one recently came that held some treats from a couple of recent trips she took...

... from Alaska came a jar of  Raspberry nectar, from British Columbia came the three grades of maple syrup and Maple Butter (I do love me some mapley things!!) and as always she knows our fondness for Portlands own Stumptown coffee, "Hair Bender" roast, the darkest and best there is!!!
________________

My sweet sister also keeps our house well fixed with the best ever, IMHO,
Snoqualmie pancake and waffle mix...

...last night I made a stack of waffles and fried some bacon for dinner, and tried the maple treats, delicious!!  Rico only likes Mrs. Butterworths, go figure.....

That about wraps up the week on a lovely sweet note,
have a super weekend and thanks once again for stopping by!!

Take care,
edgar

  6. What a super package to receive! Your waffles look divine. Sorry, not a fan of Mrs. Butterworth especially when one can have the real deal. Enjoy your weekend!
