Gentle Friends, last night we headed for South City to check on some framing I'm having done and while we were down there we stopped off for a little dinner.....
...there are only 2 In-N-Out Burger places near to SF - one down at Pier 39 and this one in South City..... and since we were down this way dinner was a no brainer!!
... we both got Double-Double's and fries...
... and we picked up a plain hamburger for the Who Hounds like we normally do. There would be no way we could walk back in the house without a snicky snack for the hounds, when they could easily smell that we had stopped off for dinner at a burger place...the looks we would have gotten!!! Since In-N-Out shares a parking lot with Krispy Kreme, how could we not walk over for a couple of delicious donuts.....
... there are far too many to choose from, so I stick with the chocolate glazed kreme filled ones....
... back in the production area they were making what looked like glazed chocolate cake donuts... it was a fun dinner out and a nice change of pace!!

I had an in and out Burger when we were in Las Vegas. I have to say their milkshakes are my favs. And we got a Krispy Kreme here in Decatur, Alabama back in the spring. I have tried to stay away! Chocolate covered Kreme filled are my favorites. I meant to post on your stitching...it is just beautiful How long has it taken you to stitch that piece? At present I am working on Up on the Rooftop by Prairies Schooler. I never get tired of their samplers and if you ever visited my house, you would know at once I love PS.
ReplyDeleteBurgers and donuts! Sounds like my kinda cholesterol!
ReplyDeleteWow! We don't have an In and Out Burger around here, but I have heard they make a great burger. I was wondering if you had donuts for dessert.
ReplyDeleteI have never had an In-n-Out Burger but I really love Krispy Kreme. Unfortunately the latter is no longer here on Long Island. There are way too many Dunkin Donuts here. There are easily 7 within a 10 minute drive from my house. I can walk to 2 of them. Glad the who-hounds got a treat.
ReplyDeleteYou're making me hungry!

What?! Not animal style???? I miss In n Out so much. We used to live about 10 minutes from one. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteOh that made me drool. It's been 4 years since I've had In N Out... They need to get one out here in the Charleston /Columbia area ASAP. The south NEEDS this haha.
ReplyDeleteOh how I miss In-N-Out now that we are living on the east coast.
ReplyDeleteThey make the best burgers in the entire USA.
Mouth watering pictures of the doughnut!! We were in the US recently and found that there are many more flavours there than here in India. Of the various ones we tried, double chocolate was our favourite
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...two favorites of mine! I can't have hamburger meat but when my family goes to In-n-Out I always have to get their wonderful fries - extra crispy, of course. Glad you got to have these wonderful treats.
