A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, it was a long lazy weekend.... and I did a little stitchin'....here's a snap...

... I've finished up the rose vine and the alphabets... now on to the rest of the body of the piece.

That's about it for today sports fans.  Thanks for stopping by do stop again!!

Take care,

  1. Lovely stitching Edgar!! I did some finishes over the weekend. You can see them on blog. I have started finishing some of my smaller pieces myself. Now I am a member of Stitch Maynia and Cross Stitch Finish Line on Facebook and I spend WAY too much time looking at everyone's lovely work.

  2. Beautiful - you definitely made the most of your long weekend!

  3. It is looking fabulous; what a lovely stitch this is.

  4. Dearest Edgar: Positively beautiful, the colors are so vibrant.
    Thank-you for sharing.

  5. Now Edgar, you know I love your stitching, right? Is it the light that causes the uppercase L M N and lowercase k l m not to show up very well? Are they the same color as the zig-zag border because I can see it....just not as bright as the flowers. It may be my screen but if i step back away from it, I almost lose the yellowish border. I'm certainly not an expert on color and I believe you have a *eye* for color. This "yellow" just seem a little washed out to me. I love the other colors and probably if I saw this in person it would look bright. Just thought I would share that with you. No offense meant and I hope none taken. Carry on......

(I'm not going to sign my name this time) lol

  6. This piece is so pretty. It must be wonderful to watch its beauty emerge as you stitch.

  7. Great progress! I hope you had a very relaxing week-end!

  8. What a wonderful way to spend a quasi-languid weekend...
This is really going to be a beauty.... Can see what
needlenurse means about the border and selected letters...
but I know you would have caught it if it were it not a fit...
Guess you expect to finish it by next weekend, Speedo?

A Damp Weekend

Gentle Friends, still stitching away on Sarah, and here's a snaperoo... ... I like all the little bits of "wonky" that are pa...
