Gentle Friends... today I wanted to mention a great little film we saw this week.....
........... "St. Vincent" - 2014 - starring Bill Murray, Melissa McCarthy, Naomi Watts and Jaeden Lieberher - the main characters of the film break down into..... curmudgeonly older guy, Bill Murray, his new neighbors - single mother, Melissa McCarthy, and son, Jaeden Lieberher - and - as the film progresses you meet Murray's "friend" Naomi Watts.
The story is built around their interactions and works on so many levels. A very underrated film and probably some of the best acting from Murray and Watts in a very long time. Even McCarthy, who is often waaaay over the top in her films is delightfully restrained and does a super job fleshing out her character.
Overall a delightful and very watchable film, give it a look.

I just saw this movie a few weekends ago. I thought it was great too! Definitely enjoyed a more toned down Melissa McCarthy as well.
