A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, I finished up the over one section, thank goodness.  It seemed to take the longest time, but whatever, it's now done, and now to finish up the rest of the central block.... here's a snap...

... I think that not only the blue chickens but the motto or verse is what really sold me on this sampler...

A little Something New

Gentle Friends, just updating the old blog a bit.... here's a little something "new" I picked up recently...

... a cased glass paperweight vase by Daniel Salazar, of Lundberg Studios...

it reminds me of dogwood flowers...

A Little Bit o'Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, I slugging through all the over-one section and not moving fast at all... here's a snap...

... I'm even too lazy to pop off all the Q-snaps... oh well, you get the idea.  I like my recharting of the grapes on the right and once the over-one is all done this area will look nice.  Then I will get to the recharted band I created under all this and hope for the best...

A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, I've made a little headway on the over one and the "changes" in the center box...  here's a snap...

... after stitching away on the grapes and leaves and I couldn't take any more "over-one" I moved over and started on the satin stitch fill around the border and got a bit of that done...

A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, I finished up the hen, and the rest of the roses...now I think I'll tackle all the over one in the center box... here's a snap of my blue chickens...

...  all the over one is going to kick my butt as I am not fast to stitch such small bits, but it has to get done and will look nice once it's finished.
