A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends,  as I turned another year older this week I reflected on all the stitching I've done over the years and how much I still want to do in the future.  I came to the conclusion that if never another chart was released I would still have too much stash to ever complete in my lifetime... yet I still accumulate and dream....  here's a bit more stitched on Fruits...

... I've gotten the bulk of the dark blue in and even a bit done on November...
____________

I have lined up a couple of new pieces for the New year that I want to start.  They will be both in silk - a floss I really enjoy working with and haven't much worked with this year.... so stay tuned!!

  5. May you ever be able to ply this unique ability you have to produce
works of needle art with such skill and speed. A blessed Birthday
and a coming year filled with all you hope and plan.

  6. I hope you have an absolutely wonderful birthday!! I just told my sister the same thing. I will have to live way past one hundred just to stitch all the charts that I have and that means never buying another one. However, me never buying another chart is very unlikely!!So I suppose I am rapidly approaching living to 200!

  7. LOL...is there not a halfway serious stitcher who could not admit to this?? I have said that if I bought absolutely nothing else ever, I would still have enough floss, linen, and patterns to last for all of my nine lives and well into my next life as well. Does that stope me from accumulating more? Nah...and I don't stitch one iota as quickly (or as faithfully) as you. Hope your birthday was wonderfully spent!
