A Little Thrifting

Gentle Friends, a few fun things I picked up this weekend...

...a great mid century sterling bowl, a  nice little piece of transfer ware, a vintage "Miami" plate made exclusively for Burdines c. 1950, which was a Florida department store that was bought by Macys, a great little film about a Hollywood murder in the 1920's, and a great little Indian painting with some silver leaf decoration.....

... here's a better snap of the painting of a god and consort??  not too sure.

  2. Fantastic finds. I lived in WPB from 1966-1968 (I was 12-14 years old) and LOVED it when they opened up a Mall in WBP. Awesommmee. Burdines was there, I think as well as Jordan Marsh.

We, too, found Fla too buggy, humid, hot and we moved to Los Angeles in 1968.

    Thanks for the memories!
