A Little Sitchin'

Gentle Friends, it was a nice long weekend... and although I did some laundry, vacuumed and went to the grocery store....  it felt like I was a total lay-about doing nothing..... and it was lovely!!  I did do a little stitching on a couple of things, two I can show you today.....

... after the craziness with the chart I finally got a start on the Colonial Gathering piece, not much but a beginning..... and ...

... I worked on the SMS some and it is still coming along nicely.

That's about it for today sports fans.... thanks for stopping by do stop again!!

Take care,
edgar

  5. Lovely work. I need to get back at it with some linen. Stuck in the doll clothes-stitching mode for a few more days. Then I can pick up some "recreational stitching".

  13. WOW! I really love that SMS you're working on, Edgar. That's a beautiful piece. I like how you've started each band so you can "change it up" a bit when stitching. I know I start to go cross-eyed after too long a time stitching the same border or motif over and over, but the end result is definitely worth the effort! I'm so behind on the Colonial Gathering and Prim Society projects! I'm not even sure which kit this is that you've started on, but it looks fantastic so far! Guess I better go dig through my stash here and locate that one! Lol. Happy stitching.
