A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, settling on two blues (CC "Wavy Navy" & GAST "Morning Glory") that I'm happy with, here's the result...

... to get the blue floss to look blue in the snap I have to give up on the linen (PTP "Moonglow" 40ct) having the yellow overcast and so it looks very dull beige/grey...I do like how this first part turned out but can't get past the idea that the bowl of fruit looks like bubbles!!

  4. It looks great! I am definitely a blue on white kinda gal, so I understand what yo are saying about the fabric. I love seeing what you will stitch next. Thank for sharing. (I do miss the travel shows you put on when we could all travel!)

  6. Whoa...this is only part 1?? There's 11 more to go??? This is going to be huge! But it truly is stunning. I am glad you found some blues to your liking....they compliment each other very well. Did you replace that little flower in the upper left that you initially stitched in Cornflower or is that still in the Cornflower? Perhaps it's just the photo, but it looks different than the rest of the light blues. Happy Groundhog's Day! ~Robin~

  8. That really looks beautiful to me. I am going to order that navy you are using. I have had trouble finding a good navy except in NPI and too much of that goes beyond my budget!

  11. Very nice color combination. I have too much obligation stitching this year to participate but I am very much enjoying seeing everyone's color choices and progress.
