Gentle Friends, still stitching away on "Christmas Garden" and here's where I left off last night...
... I was very happy when the border met up - and now working away on the floral bits and pieces will keep me busy through the Christmas season.
____________
Yesterday was the 1st Sunday of Avent and the Mass was a beautiful service - it is so nice to remember the reason for the Season and be a part of the lighting of the first candle of Advent - the candle of Prophesy and Hope.
“And again, Isaiah says, ‘The Root of Jesse will spring up, one who will arise to rule over the nations; the Gentiles will hope in him.’ May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” ~ Romans 15:12-13

Always a good feeling when the border meets up on all the sides. Your piece is looking good, Edgar.
ReplyDeleteIt's so lovely, Edgar. I've been resisting this one, but you may just convince me to add it to my stash.
ReplyDeleteIf memory serves me, I had to do some fudging on that border. You can't tell. What a lovely Advent comment. It is s very special time. Our Church was lovely too.
