Gentle Friends, I'm still plugging away at the border on Sarah....
... as you can see I've been stitching the berries in all the shades of pink, there are three basic pinks, a light, medium and a dark....

Your border is coming along on Sarah Maddock. Have a good week, Edgar!
ReplyDeleteStitchers who start with borders always impress me. I live in fear of a mistake in center design ( happened once too close to border one side). It was too much to frog , the only piece I never finished. I should just turn it into a pillow. I had jury duty once it was fun, of course it was just a civil case. Back then ( in the old days) you reported for two week even if you did not have a case. We got along so well that we had a dinner together one year later to catch up!
ReplyDeleteLooking good!
ReplyDeleteA great start xxxxx Love the colours.
ReplyDeleteI too live in fear of starting with the border. I have always started at the center. I'd love to sit with an experienced stitcher and watch them find the location of that first border stitch. Yours is perfectly placed, I'm sure, Edgar.
ReplyDeleteNice start! Good luck on jury duty!
ReplyDeleteThe border is looking great! I have been called for jury duty 3 times since I moved to WA. So far , no trial!YEA!
ReplyDeleteLooking lovely.
