A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, I've finished up the "herd" of animals on the front lawn....

...  once the grass is stitched in you'll better see the light coloured animals...  I've also stitched in the steps leading up to the front door.... now it's onto the house!!

  2. What a wonderful menagerie it's becoming! And it looks great on this linen choice, too!

Please allow me to wish you a very belated Happy Birthday!

I had Grand (humble) Plans for a little package, in early September, but fell decidely under the weather at the key time. I believe firmly in the "Birthday Week" concept--but is there such a thing as a "Birthday Month"? If so, the best one would have to be October. I hope you're having as nice weather as we have been. I even enjoy the misty, rainy interludes--but today it's that classic Autumn Sunshine!

Also, have you been watching "Poldark"? I enjoyed season 1 so much more than I ever did Downton, though it IS a bit early for my strike zone (1830-1910ish). I'd love to hear your impressions if you've seen it! (Apologies if you've already blogged about it and I missed it!)
