A Little Brunchin'

Gentle Friends, sorry to have not posted yesterday but I left my camera at home so there would have been no snaperoos.... and who wants a post without a picture??

So, I've not touched a needle or stitched a stitch in over a week... I am just not motivated in the least... what's up with that... so Instead of beating myself up for not stitching, I think I'll just start something new.  I dug around last night in the old stash pile and think I've landed on a fun piece ... I'll see just how much I have or can pull together and get a'move on with that!!

Over the weekend we headed down to China Basin on the far south side of the Emabrcadero for brunch with friends at a new to us place called "Mission Rock Resort"...

... it's right on the water and has great views out over the Bay towards Oakland and Alameda...

... here's a snap of the menu...

... and what's brunch without a libation...

... we ordered and here's some foodie porn.....

... and order Corn Beef Hash and eggs...

... Rico had a Burger and fries...

.... French Toast and Bacon...

... and I had Eggs Benedict with Dungeness Crab and a Bloody Mary!!  Delicious!!!
We'll be back for sure!

  1. Yummy!
This year I tried something new for those times when I just don't want to stitch on my current project. I put together a half dozen very small patterns. I have completed four of them and really like having them to pull out when I've lost my inspiration for the endless amount of Christmas Stockings I need to stitch!

  4. I always enjoy seeing the wonderful restaurants in SF. That one had a great view!! Maybe you just need a new project to stitch or a little vacation from stitching!

  5. Dearest Edgar: It looks like wonderful food and great place to relax and enjoy the water and friends.
I have had weeks where I have not picked up a needle and fabric, I hope you get to stitching soon, I love seeing what you are up too.

    Have a lovely week.
