Gentle Friends, a little later than I usually posting but better late than never.... as I said in yesterdays post we did the usual running around and had four estate sales to visit. Here's a snap of the things I picked up.....
.... from the top and around.... a great early McCoy Planter, a Hallowe'en plate I couldn't say no to and two DVD's. You would have thought with all the sales out there I'd have more stuff, but alas there was not that much I was interested in. I did pick up quite a pile of vintage linen (tablecloths, napkins, cut work pillowcases, Victorian linen towels, all with tons of cut work and or beautifully embroidered initials) but am waffling whether or not to keep some of it or to sell.
That's about it for today - I'll be away from the Blog for a good two weeks, leaving tomorrow on a jet plane for Bordeaux - but I'll be back with a full report and tons of snaps!! Thanks for stopping by and all your kind wishes!!! Do stop again!!
Take care,
edgar
