Gentle Readers and Dear Friends thanks for dropping by this morning. Over the weekend we acquired another bundle of joy - and I can officially say we have a heard of Chihuahua's. As many of you might have guessed when it comes to dogs I am such a soft touch it's not funny and when Rico's niece was given a puppy as a gift that she couldn't keep - it was either our house or who knows where - and I just couldn't let that happen..
We now have four who-hounds running amuck - we have our little old man - Pete, the little old lady, The Peach, the youngster Lolly and now the baby - Lil Smokie -
He is about 2 months old and just a ball of energy....
attacking my shoes....
all over Peaches and Lolly's toys...
he does enjoy the Peach's squeaky rats... and it makes her just crazy to see him with them!!
He really likes Lolly's little chew "sushi's"
he is always on the move at a running pace....
... gotta be in everything that he can - even the empty dinner bowl..
once again at my shoes....
So there you go - another who hound. You will be hearing and seeing lots of Lil Smokie in the future - and we are very happy that he has joined our household!!
There you sports fans - thanks for stopping by do come again!!
take care,
edgar

ReplyDeleteHe is adorable! Congratulations to the new baby!
ReplyDeleteHe is so precious! You can just tell he has a feisty personality from the photos. Congrats on your newest family member.

ReplyDeleteSuch a sweetie. My circus has six rings - two dogs, two cats, two daughters. I love them all. Some more than others on a given day.
ReplyDeleteHe is so cute. I can see why you couldn't say no! I hope you have lots of fun with him. As always you have great pictures!

ReplyDeleteawwwww he is adorable :) no wonder you couldn't say no :) love mouse xxxx
ReplyDeleteHe is just stinkin' adorable! And what a kind and loving heart you have for taking him into your home rather than the scary alternative. You're the best!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the new addition. Who could resist all that cuteness??
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, Lil' Smokey is the cutest! I wouldn't have been able to say no either. Hope the other kids like him.
ReplyDeleteThe puppy is just adorable. I hate it when people give animals as gifts without consulting the giftee first--it leads to lots of animals going to shelters. It's great that you were able to take him in.
ReplyDeleteHe is sooooo CUTE!!! what's one more when you have 3 already???
ReplyDeleteSo cute... makes me want a puppy...
You'll have to keep us updated on all the Chihuahua News! :)
OMG - he is ADORABLE!!!! Love his coloring!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lucky sweetie to have such a nice family adopt him, complete with brothers and sisters! And their toys!
ReplyDeleteHe is just gorgeous, Edgar. I want to reach right through the screen and hug him. :)
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine life without pets!
Thanks for the lovely pictures! Sandy.
Lil Smokie is so cute! I don't think I've seen a chi with that coloring before. He looks like a little bundle of cuteness and fun!

ReplyDeleteWe recently became the forever home to a Chiweenie that was heading back to the pound and we couldn't stand the thought of it. She joined our pack that includes a 7 yr old Labradoodle, 4 yr old beagle and a 9 yr old very unhappy American Shorthair cat.
Enjoy your new bundle of energy!
Could he be any cuter!!!
ReplyDeleteOMG Edgar he is just adorable!! No wonder you couldn't resist bringing him home. He certainly looks like he has a lot of personality- 4 dogs - whoa I can barely handle my 2. May you all have many happy years together!
ReplyDelete¡Precioso cachorro! Cute!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs from Spain
Too cute. Congrats on the new arrival!
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling little addition to the family! Looks like he's practicing for the BOD?
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie!!!! He's adorable :-).
ReplyDeleteHe is adorable, how could you not say no. Seeing him makes me want another one, hubby would have a fit.
ReplyDeleteAwwww, little Smokie is adorable! I can't wait to see more him in your postings!
ReplyDeleteI bet he's giving the other hounds a run for their money - wouldn't you just love to know what they think? He's very tiny and cute (I have a 90+ pound lab) and when we brought him home, we had a cat who you could tell what she was thinking by the look! Needless to say, not happy at first.
ReplyDeleteI love your tennies - they look like converse - one of my favs!
Although I love me a puppy, don't like the training part...glad my doggie is getting older (about 9).
What a DOLL BABY! Cutest thing EVER!! Congrats! You'll never be sorry.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We have 4 Chihuahuas too. If you add 2 large dogs to your pack, you will have caught up to us!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie! congrats! :)
ReplyDeleteAwwwww, he's just darling Edgar. Grats on acquiring another who hound!!
