VOHRH more stitching

After work I ran down to Britex and picked up a bunch of finishing stuff, ribbon, buttons etc... anticipating upcoming exchanges. No picture as it would give away some surprises, I think. I also stopped by the Caswell & Massey store to pick up some lotion and shave cream I was out of. They have been in this spot for 80 or so years and the company has been around since the 18th century, they must be doing something right, and the products are superior!!

I picked back up Village last night, just to prove that I can stitch that thing and not skip threads!!! I did make some pretty good progress on the city hall and here is a snap.

I am really liking the two shades of blue colour that are used in the door and windows.

Not too much else except........ does anybody watch Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy????? These two shows are making me crazy. I am still watching but give me break, the decisions that the characters make are just beyond the pale!!! I just want to smack George, Izzy, Betty, Marc, the new Heart surgeon, Erica Hahn.....and the list grows!

Thats about it for the week, thanks for stopping by!!!!

Take care,
edgar

  1. VoHRH is looking great! I would have pulled out the bad row also :-) I would have looked at that spot forever if I didn't. Congrats on 100 posts! Times sure flies :-)

  2. VOHRH is looking good! I like the blues, too.

I used to watch Grey's Anatomy, but the idiocy of the characters got to me around the second season and I gave it up. ;)

  5. VoHRH is moving right along. You will be finished quickly.

My husband and I still watch Gray's Anatomy, but certainly not with the fervor that we did even last season. At the beginning we talked as if the characters were real people and now they just seem like manipulated puppets -- no angst, no story. Though they have not gone completely off the reservation yet. George never really loved Callie, though he was grateful for her support after his father's death. George always loved Izzy (at least after Meredith). Meredith doesn't love anyone, especially herself.

And if you really want to go nuts, the Dr. Hahn actress played a mother who has a child with a married Episcopal priest, then drops her son off with his father and leaves for Brazil in Dirty, Sexy Money. Just think of her as a child abandoner and you will understand.

  6. You are doing a great job on VOHRH! The only shows I really am addicted to watching are Desperate Housewives and Ghost Whisperer.

  8. Edgar - I have always loved Grey's Anatomy, but I have to admit that the story line this year with George and Izzy is pretty lame...good thing we have our stitching!
