  1. It's good to remember. The world needs to remember.

  3. My dad was there that day...in the Army on the land..... but what he saw stayed with him forever.

  4. Although I am far too young to remember this, I am so moved by the images of that day. It brings me to tears. My parents are even a bit too young to have a vivid memory of it, but the lesson is so powerful. Hopefully our current leaders and those around the world will learn something from that momentous day.

  5. My Daddy is on (the tailend) of a 3 month oriental cruise. He is now winding it down, but just last weekend he was at the Arizona. He told me that when you stand in the white building over the Arizona, it is powerful, no one speaks in talking tones, it is quiet and respectful and almost other worldly. Thank you for sharing it with us and remembering....lest we forget.

(on a side note...have I ever told you that my brother lives in Sacramento? Anyway my Daddy is going to be out there close to you soon! One of his favorite things is to go into San Francisco...if I were there I'd come to see you and Rico and we do some eating! That's all I can think about as I've been dieting very strictly lately! HA HA HA!)
