Warm Thursday Thoughts!!

GR&DF how really wonderful you all are!!!  I just read through the comments and am now all verklept!!  Such sweet words about my own sadness.  Dale has been a dear friend for more than 27 years and I am sure we will still stay in contact - phone , email, Blog.....   He is moving back home, but once his life settles out and he finds his own place a visit to NC will certainly happen....  maybe next Fall when it is beautifully cool and lovely.  BTW I remembered what he calls that iguana - Octavia - that was driving me crazy trying to recall the name!!
__________

I posted the Cranberry-Orange Coffee Cake over at Blacksheep Bakes - you can click on over to see the recipe.

__________

I am still working - very slowly - on the LHN Monthlies, so no snap yet.
__________
Not very much else going on.  I will be away from the computer tomorrow so there will be no wrapping up the week post.  I'll be back on Monday.

That's about it for today sports fans - thanks again for all the kind comments!!  Do stop by again.

Take care,
edgar

  1. Isn't it amazing how something can drive us absolutely bonkers until we can remember it? Just the other day I was trying to think of the name of a show and it drove my nuts because I couldn't think of it and I knew that I knew it well! It was "The Real McCoys" of all things!

    Have a great Thursday!

  3. I just read about him moving home. He is the one you estate sale, right? Think of all the estate sales you two could do in NC, and that's not too far from that big yardsale in Kentucky. But I am sorry to see a friend move out of your daily circle. That's hard. Hugs.

  6. Such a shame for you and Rico that Dale is moving back to NC but as you say there's no need to lose touch with the internet and phone etc and I agree with Rachel S there will be lots of estate sales in NC for you to visit when you go to visit him!

  13. I had a friend in NC and I loved to visit with her. Out for breakfast and hunting around the antique markets etc. Special times. Hope you get down there and enjoy your special times to come. All the best to Dale on his move and don't be too sad.
