Thrifty Thursday

Gentle Friends....Saturday was bright and sunny with a cool/cold breeze all the day long.
We did our usual "thrifting" and found a few things........

... a couple of DVD's, a sterling salt and pepper set, a book about Rome and a small
matryoshka of Russian leaders.......

... from l to r...  Putin, Yeltsin, Gorbachev, Brezhnev and a tiny little Lenin.
This matryoshka is on the small side standing about 4" tall.

  1. Ah, I really enjoyed "Enchanted" but I have to confess that I was never a big fan of The Duke.

  4. I really liked "The Cowboys" even though I am not a fan of JW. I've never seen "Enchanted" so can't comment on it but I do like most things by Disney. Your movie collection must be huge. If you are like me it's hard to pass on a good movie deal even if I don't care for that particular one......I always think 'someone will like it'.

  6. I haven't seen that film with John Wayne, I'll add it to the list. Enchanted was funny, not exceptional but still a good watch from time to time.
those Russian Dolls made me laugh, and they made Lenin is the tiniest! HAHAHA!
