Some Downton Abbey Stuff

Gentle Friends thanks so much for stopping by on this chilly Friday morning.  Since there seems to be such a surge of fun DA feeling going around I though I would share some fun things I found out there on the Internet....

Don't you just love it when the Earl is behind you!!!!  I have some ideas about this story line.......  like, if it wasn't Bates who did old evil Vera in (and I do no think it was) then who did???

Who would want to protect the family from more scandal?  Could it be, O'Brien??

She has said on more than one occasion that she was NOT going to let anyone "Hurt her lady!!" Think about that for a few minutes!!  I do love me some O'Brien!!!

I do enjoy downstairs....  and feel so sorry for poor Daisy..

I am really happy that she has started to stand up a bit for herself.

I will leave you with a great O'Brien interpretation by Levi Hastings - a really super artist from Seattle!!

Thanks for stopping by, do stop again... and don't forget 3rd Season Premier this Sunday on Masterpiece Theatre!!!

Take care,
edgar

Being in the U.K. I do know what happened - but I'm not going to tell you and spoil your fun! Enjoy it!

Oh, I thought we were meant to think that Vera did herself in to frame Bates! I didn't even know it was open to interpretation! =) After all, poison is a woman's murder weapon; men would just bash someone on the head. (Oooo, so sexist I am!!)

How fun! I'm SO excited about DA this Sunday night! I've watched Season 1 and 2 several times on Netflix and Amazon after watching them the first time on PBS. I love this show...love love. I also love me some Mr. Bates. It will be so interesting to see what happens this season. WOOHOOO!

The start of a new season of Downton reminds me that I am still holding you Upstaris/Downstairs collection hostage!! Never gat a chance to look at more then one or two episodes a month.
As for Vera, I personally think ANNA did it. Love O'Brien. Her accent reminds me of my grandparents and she has my grandfather's biting sense of humor/sarcasm.

Tomorrow evening (Jan. 6) the hour before Downton Abbey airs there will be a special, Secrets of Highclere Castle, giving the history of the castle that is the backdrop for the series.

Over here in the UK we do know what happened. It makes a change for us to be ahead of you guys on the TV. So glad that you are all enjoying Downton. Really missing it now it is over for a while over here. x
