A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Freinds, stitching away on Apostles Creed... here's a pretty craptastic snap of where I am at the moment...

... a pretty significant floss change I've made is with the letters.  They are supposed to be stitched in GAST "Harvest Basket."  I stitched the first line with the Harvest Basket from my stash and it just was too pale and I didn't care for how it looked so I frogged it all out and went back to my stash and pulled some different colors... I've settled on another GAST color "Dried Thyme."

There you go sports fans, thanks for stopping by do stop again!

Take care,

  4. I think I'm going to like this one! You've really got an eye for color. I very rarely trust myself to make color changes. If I do, it's usually because I'm out of that particular color. Then I choose something very close to called-for color. Looking forward to seeing more of this one also.

  5. I too love the flowers in the top band. Your choice of floss colour is perfectly in keeping with the design, soft and muted. Looking forward to seeing more of this one.

  7. This will be such a nice piece when done! Thanks for sharing. I have a hard time changing colors...LOL. I don't know why I find it so hard to change something when it doesn't show up! Anxious to see this finished! May have to put it in my stash of someday!

  9. Lovely! When I was young, I received a little picture of Jesus in a plastic frame because I learned the entire Apostle's Creed. (Fat lot of good that did me! LOL)
