A Little Stitching

Gentle friends, just a quick post of the stitching I've worked on while watching Downton Abbey, Series 5 a couple of times over the last week......

...  I've finished up "Santa's Stocking Store" and have made a start on "Reindeer Stables."  I've only set two goals for my stitching this year - to have "Santa's Village" and that lovely sampler "Sojouner" completed - here's were I left off on that piece....

.... I think that these are both doable..... and I have a couple of other pieces I'd like to complete, but I'll keep the list realistic for now......
_______________

That's it for today sports fans, thanks for stopping by, do stop again!!

Take care,
edgar

  1. Both pieces are beautiful, Edgar. I need to set more realistic goals for myself, but this year my goals are determined by "have" to stitch, rather than "want" to stitch. Fortunately whether it's have to or want to, I love to stitch! Happy 2016...

I like your goals for 2016, and agree that keeping it simple makes it totally doable....and I can't wait to watch your progress...which is gorgeous, I might add.

  9. I love seeing your stitching Edgar. I just started on Easter by Cross Eyed Cricket. I am enjoying the pastel colors and I am working on a piece of seafoam linen. Thankful for my magnifier and q snaps.

You left us hanging with that Christmas cake! I read it all, step
by step, waiting to see the final decorated work of art! Also, was it delicious as it
looked??? If you have any photos of it, let's see it!!
    Happy New Year!

  14. Looking great Edgar - I've had Santa's Village kitted up for 2 yrs now and finally going to start it this month. Glad I'm not the only one lagging behind getting it done LOL. I'm trying to make realistic goals this year and just keep working on my UFO's and other items from my stash. I finally reached the point where new stash isn't calling out to me much anymore so I'm happy to stitch what I already have.

  15. Nice to see my Santa`s Village is not the only one as work in progress. I was wondering what the name and designer is of the pattern for your stitching in your over head `O gentle words & peaceful ways`. Happy Stitching.
