A Little Touch of Spring

Gentle Friends, on our one foray out of the house Saturday to get some hound chow we
picked these up.....

.... they were all buds in the evening and by late Sunday afternoon they had all popped open... so nice and bright, while out side it was gray and rainy!

Just seeing the photo of these daffodils on your blog has brightened my day! Such a tonic for the wintry weather.

Beautiful It is 32 degrees here in Music City with an inch of ice covered by snow with more snow forecast for Friday. Brrrr It's cold but makes for a perfect stay home stitch day.

Thanks for making my gray and very rainy day bright with lovely daffodils. You are so lucky to have a flower market close at hand.

So pretty! We're covered in snow with temps in the teens, it'll be awhile before I see ours:)

That bouquet lifts my spirits on a rainy January morning in Alabama.

Daffs in flower here too, it does lift the spirits on a dull damp day.

How utterly refreshing!! My daffodils are shooting up little leaves in my flower beds here in Oregon. It will be great when the blooms show.

I never buy myself flowers because they always seem so extravagant, but every year I buy some daffodils because they are such cheerful flowers. x

I love fresh flowers. I don't know why I don't buy them. I do get them every Mother's Day though from the most thoughtful, loving son a mother could hope for. Your bouquet is lovely.
