I wanted to show a little update on the MA Hutton sampler....
I wanted to work the "vine" across as soon as possible - I often worry about the fabric size no matter how many times I have measured - and with this I have plenty of room... except - I do hate when a piece is cut wonky!! and this piece I bought "on-line" was cut way wonky!!!

A really good friend of ours gave us a new toy to play with.....
.... he is trying to cut back on caffeine (which stunned me!!) and wanted this great machine out of his house so it has come to live with us!! I am loving it!!! - and - there are way too many different kinds of drinks and flavours to try!!!!!!

That's about it for today sports fans. I have been getting quite a few concerned emails about this Blog and that a piece of Mal ware is attached itself somehow. I have tried another fix from Google and lets hope this fixes that problem. Thanks again for stopping by - do stop again!!
Take care,
edgar
Your sampler is looking wonderful! Enjoy your new toy, and congratulations to the lucky winners!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners!! I love the who-hounds helpin' out! so cute!! Great progress on your sampler! I love your new blog look too. Didn't have any problems with malware. Not sure how that attaches itself to a blog though. Maybe contact Blogger and ask them for some help perhaps?!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners. Love the 'who hounds' helping!!! Oh yes, that Keurig is a magical machine that takes us to lovely comfort in a cup. There are teas as well and decaf coffee as well as regular. ENJOY!
ReplyDeleteYou little helpers did a great job, congrats to the winners.
ReplyDeleteSampler is looking fab, a great start.
Congrats to your winners! Your sampler is looking pretty. Enjoy your Keurig...we love ours!
ReplyDeleteHi Edgar, your new sampler start looks great! Can't wait to see more! I think you will love your Keurig. My mom has one and she bought the small version for my daughter when she went to college...both don't know how to live without it...a fresh brewed cup of coffee (or tea, or hot cocoa) in an instant anytime day or night!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your blog winners! You are going to love your Keurig! Enjoy it! Your sampler looks fabulous! Love the fabric you are using! Sorry it was cut way wonky!

Congrats to all the lucky winners. Wow I have been away a week, and I had loads to catch up on your blog here. Enjoyed reading through all your posts and looking at the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chocolate cake recipe :)
Congrats to the winners! Love your sampler -- bummer about the wonkiness of the linen cut. I'm always paranoid too about the linen being enough. Keurig -- we love ours! It's a great invention!
ReplyDeleteThank you Edgar, I am so happy, I never win anything. You have a great start on the sampler the fabric color is beautiful. We have the Keurig too and I love it. My hubby even took one to his office. Thanks again and my email will be on it's way in just a few.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas! (I'm commenting on your mug. ;-) ) Enjoy your new toy.
Your sampler looks great!
Congratulations to the winners. I love the look of the new sampler. I am always one to cut the fabric too small. I am what you call a 'genetic cheapskate'. I'm third generation miserly-ness and stitching supplies are no exception.
ReplyDeleteIf I had any taste for coffe a Keurig would be the thing I would get. My brother and his wife love theirs. So do my in-laws,
The new sampler looks great. My husband got a Keurig when it first came out. It's nice since I don't drink coffee so he can just have one cup instead of wasting 4 cups in the regular pot. Also, there's this great little gem called Ekobrew. You can get them at World Market or amazon. It lets you use your own coffee in the machine. It's less hassle than the My K Cup thing because you have to remove a bunch of stuff in the machine to switch it out. This just pops in like a K cup. It leaks a bit in our machine because it's older. But my stepson has the same model as you and has no issues.
ReplyDeleteoooo thank you whoo hounds and the claw :) .. doing a wee dance here :) oooo enjoy the drink maker ... heard good things about it :) and lovely start on your new sampler ... off to go and email you know :) love mouse xxxxx
ReplyDeleteYour sampler start looks good, love the colors. Lucky you getting the drink mixer. I do love coffee! That's one thing I do love about this part of the world, a stand on every corner. When I travel away from here, I'm always surprised how hard it can be to find really good coffee!
ReplyDeleteEdgar: Your Who Hounds did a great job congratulations to the winners.
ReplyDeleteYour new sampler is starting to look good, wow a Keurig machine I need friends like yours.
Happy Stitching
Catherine

Just curious.
Your sampler is coming along beautifully. You will love your Keurig. And who the heck cuts back on caffeine!!!!!!???
ReplyDeleteMary Ann is looking great. MUCH better than the online chart pics. Congratulations to all the winners!
ReplyDeleteEdgar... I agree that your sampler start looks much better than the chart picture. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI'm still getting the malware warning when accessing through Firefox. It said it was in some link that you have on the site.. I can try to copy the message next time if it will help. :)
Congratulations to the winners!
ReplyDeleteLOL I gave up caffeine once ~ I slept thru my daughter's 3rd grade school year. Never again! Enjoy the new toy!
And I'm still getting the malware warning...

ReplyDeleteMelody
Your MA Hutton sample is looking great. I love seeing the samplers you stitch up. I too hate wonky cut fabric. My last project almost had to be restarted because of such a thing. ick.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Keurig. I have heard great things about them.
Thank you very much, Edgar!!! so excited to watch Barbra! Love your stitching, and your stitching choices, always!
ReplyDeleteTracy
Thank you so much Edgar! I'm thrilled to have my name chosen. The movies are going to make for some great watching at the cottage this summer!
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with your new start already. It has such an interesting border and the colours are fabulous!
I absolutely love my Keurig! My DH and I each have our favourite coffees I can brew a decaf in the evening without making a whole pot!
