A Little Stitchin'

Gentle Friends, I'm back from my mini sta-cation and as usual, it flew by far too fast!!  The weekend was very low key... went to lunch with friends downtown... had lots of coffee, did some laundry, vacuumed up some dog hair...  and went to early Easter Mass which was really lovely!!

I also got some stitching done... here's a snaperoo...

... I've finished up all the outside "virtues" and am now stitching on the center section.  The picture is a bit odd because of the light and wrinkles but you get the idea.

  11. Edgar, This is next up on my stitching list and l LOVE your color changes as well as fabric choice. Always a joy to see your posts.

Although I have mentioned this to others, I know I have never addressed it with you. You were the first stitching blog I ever read, then I found the Spinster Stitcher and Vonna and so, so many others. It was at a time when we had moved away for a 3 year job change for my husband and I am VERY shy (in real life) and not outgoing therefore, alone and lonely. Your blog lifted my spirits and I credit you with keeping me sane. Now that is a lot of credit from someone you had no idea even existed! I had left my stitching group behind and I replied it with blogs!

Today we are back home and stitching with my same old group and watching Flosstube! But Edgar, you hold a very special place in my heart and in my life. Just because of this here blog. Thanks!

  13. Beautiful! But then all your stitching is.
Sounds like it was another gorgeous day in San Francisco! I was thrilled to see a photo of the Westin St. Francis - stayed there more than 20 years ago (1994) for a short vacation - also rode the cable car!
