A Friday Pooch Post

Gentle friends,  I think I will end the week on a high note.  A cute snaperoo of two Who Hounds...

... it's Lolly and the Peach staying warm on the heating pad (it's there under the blankets).

I really appreciate the comments and the emails about Peaches health.  What's up with her in a nutshell....... in May of 2013 in the early morning hours she collapsed and we rushed her to the VCA Hospital.  She had an episode with her heart.  We got her there in time to stabilize her and after a few days in Doggie ICU she came home with 3 pills that she takes twice daily.  Since then we go for check ups every 6 months and they do blood work and x-rays and so far she has been so stable that her Doctor has not had to change her medicine a bit. Usually the dosages increase with time as the heart starts to enlarge.  The Peach is that 1 in 100 hounds with this heart problem that has done extremely well and stayed very stable, and should stay this way for the foreseeable future.  We are very fortunate.

Blessed little baby ... she has good parents! Seeing I can't give them both a squeeze .... please give them one from me.

Glad the news was good from the vet about Peaches. I figured that the visit was a checkup. It's wonderful that Peaches is stable. Hooray! Love the pic of the who hounds. So cute!
