Friday Wrap Up

Gentle Readers and Dear Friends it is Friday and two glorious days of "not work" time are in front of us.....  well, all the house chores are work.... and need to get done - and I started last night by getting all the laundry done - and I'll get the regular house stuff - dusting and vacuuming out of the way tonight.  We have no big plans - I know of at least one Estate Sale I want to get to and the regular consignment/thrift store places that I need to pop into - but other than that no plans!!!  WooHoo!!
_________

I wanted to show the little bit of stitching I have done on Shores this week...
kind of an update shot....

... so far there is the stump and some disembodied legs .... I will continue working on this until it is finished.  I sort of scratched around in my stash a couple of times an have almost decided on a MAP instead of BAP for my next Project.  I converted the DMC colours to Belle Soie and now need to figure out a piece of linen to use and I'll be set to go.  I also worked up a conversion for May Cottage I think I will use - and - I have June Cottage on the way....  I am not sure about that white house???

Here are a couple of snaps of the flowers on the balcony that Rico planted -they are doing really well!!

There you go sports fans.  Thanks for stopping by, do stop again!!
Don't forget to sign up for my 5th Blogaversary Drawing on Mondays POST.

Take care,

  3. Best looking bodiless legs I've seen in a while!

MAP? Miniscule Ass Project? Massive Ass Project? Majestic Ass Project, Mighty-pretty Ass Project???? BAP I know, obviously. MAP, not so much.

Rico's flowers are gorgeous - what a beautiful container garden!

  4. Fantastic job on Shores!! You are on the home stretch. I am also doing the Cottages, but am still on February. I too am not sure about June's white house. There is just too much red and green as well. Maybe a yellow house with white window panes? Decisions, decisions. Happy Blogaversary, Edgar!!! Congratulations.

  12. Shores still takes my breath away. Would Rico like a trip to the East Coast? I would love for my deck to look as nice as your balcony!! No plans weekends are the best. I always have plans to do the housework in little bits before the weekend but am usually so worn out by the end of the day that it doesn't get done.

  13. I love finishing all house chores and even school work on Fridays to have the whole weekend to myself then. My mum used to advise that when I was a kid "Finish first the chores otherwise they will bother your mind all the weekend"AriadnefromGreece!
