Hit and Run Posting or Do I Need More Stash?????

Gentle Readers and Dear Friends - I really didn't have anything to write about today, but has that ever stopped me???  Not really!!

So I have been here just thinking about doing a little postlette about the On-Line Needlework Show.  There were lots of nice things, some things I had seen before and some I hadn't.  I also thought about how much stash I have and what I shouldn't be buying...... all that being said....   there where two really lovely things I know I will add to that ever growing heap.

The first is a new sampler from Milady's Needle - called " In Search of Bliss -

I love the symmetry and the little saying.  A must have in my book.

The second is actually something I have seen before but is now being offered as a set instead of individually....  the 12 Days of Christmas, ornaments from Marking Sampler.  I couldn't find a snap of the set, but these little lovelies have been being released over the past few years and I really liked them lots!  There are many versions of the "12 Days" but these seem to really speak to me.

That's it for today sports fans - thanks again for all your kindness, I do appreciate it!!

Take care,
edgar

  3. Yes Edgar, to answer your question, you do need more stash! As a matter of fact, all of us need more stash! ;-)
So, if I tell you that you need more, maybe you can tell me the same thing back? Maybe that would take some of the guilt away...

  7. Gah! I really meant to stop in and look at a few things but it's already closed! Where does the time go!?

Just made your apricot cake, and am pondering a suitable "icing" as I am not a great fan of powdered sugar. I've got an idea for an experiment, however. :D

  10. I think you're asking a very biased group of readers whether or not you need more stash... of course you do.
I love the border on this sampler... just a little bit different.

  14. Here's my two cents worth:
    1. Who isn't in search of Bliss? It is gorgeous and you might well kick yourself forever if you don't get it. Get it.

    2. The 12 days of Christmas set? It speaks to you. Enough said.

I hate to be an enabler (ok, not really), but I think it is always better to have more options and if someday you find you don't want to stitch these or can't or whatever, there will always be someone, somewhere pleased as punch to carry the banner for you.

Edgar, please consider a caption on your beautiful header naming the projects in clockwise order! They all look so tempting.

  17. I have been eyeing this sampler too. I just haven't made the shopping cart leap yet. I don't need any more stash but after the past month, I need a little spoiling.
