The bowl has spoken and we have a winner......

A mysterious mist swirled about.......

The three almighty chihuahuas sang into night.....

Oh mighty bowl of destiny.....

Bring forth and reveal the winner.......

A fabled hags claw reached into the omnipotent cauldron from which all prizes spring ..........

and draws forth that which is tinged with wonder......
and she who must be awarded is.........

Carol R from wondrous Avalon.......
you are to be the winner of the First Blogiversary......
congratulations -
The 3 magic chihuahuas, hag hand and I, the lowly keeper of the bowl bow to your destiny!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!

Once again thank you to all who participated and those that de-lurked to enter -
just knowing you are out there really makes this blogging fun!!!!

After the belching forth of the winner - I settled down and started the second of three samplers for Christmas presents - it is the first of the BBD Loose Feathers this year called "Where my Heart Blooms." It is for Rico's mom. I am adjusting to include some family initials, here is a snap of what was completed - not the most interesting -

While stitching away I started to re-watch the Sopranos from the beginning. I had forgotten what a creature Tony's mom really was - what a nasty piece of work!!! It is really hard to turn off the TV and go to bed and not stay up watching !!!

I am really behind in my Blog reading -
I need to get on that as I really like knowing what everyone is up to!!!!

Thanks again for stopping by!!!!

Take care,
edgar

  7. Love "The Sopranos". It helps that I recognize 90% of the places, since I grew up in that area. It makes me laugh because Tony reminds me of a couple people I know in real life! I'm glad I've outgrown my New Jersey "big hair",and luckily I was never into the leather pants thing.

  12. Yay! Congrats Carol! What a lucky girl. I love how all the dogs were really crowded around the bowl. Poor pups probably thought they were going to get a special treat.

I am hooked on Sopranos...I've finally made it to the beginning of Season 6. It's taken some time. And yes Tony's mom is quite a witch!
