A Fun Evening

Gentle Friends, last Friday evening we met up with some friends down on Valencia Street at "West of Pecos."  It's a fun bar/restaurant and we hit at Happy Hour......




... I had a couple of their really tasty Sangria's

... they also have a full bar ...

...  we started off with an order of Guacamole and an order of Queso with Chorizo...

... we also got an order of their really tasty Campfire-Cornbread and chili butter!!

...  then we had to have a couple of orders of Street Corn!!

... for dinner we ordered some fish tacos.....

... some puffy tacos - these are brisket on the left and fried squash blossom on the right....

.... and some chicken fajitas....

... and for dessert, we had a couple of orders of their "Grandmas Churros with chocolate and cajeta sauce - really delicious!!!

It was a fun evening out and the night was still warm from the day so we walked along Valencia Street window shopping and people watching!!  This stretch of Valencia between 16th and 18th Streets is great for night walks with lots of folks out and about.  I think that's about all for today sports fans, thanks for stopping by do stop again!!

  5. The food looked delicious and I love the name of the place! You are so fortunate to live where there is such a variety of places to eat out. You eat out somewhere difference once a week here and by the end of the month, you've been to them all and that is counting momma's house! lol
