Thrifty Thursday

Gentle Friends, although there were no "local" estate sales, I was till able to find some fun stuff at the Consignment and thrift stores.....

... a couple of Victorian Oyster Plates, three great pieces of Heisey, a couple of pieces of transferware and some fun DVD's....

... it's so hard to take a photo of glass so here's a better shot of the glass pieces... and...

... and a much better shot of the oyster plates.  I was really surprised to find these, when I bought them they still had wire plate hangers on them and were quite dusty, so they have been unused and on the someones wall for years.

  3. Love to see the goodies you find :) My mother had Old Curiosity Shop transferware that we used for years when I was growing up. Unfortunately, when she passed away I didn't get custody of those dishes :( I've been keeping an eye out for a set and even Ebay is expensive. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to find them in a local thrift shop.
