A MIA SAL that is once again a WIP

Gentle Friends after finishing up "Feasty" I wanted to move on to a Christmas piece and although I have a couple of things kitted up and ready to "hit the needle" I was not in the mood for something brand new, can you bleive that!!  So I dug around in the basket o'stitching and found a SAL piece I had started last year.  The piece got put to the side when things fell into a tailspin last Fall..........  so I pulled it out and found that it is still a great little piece to work on and with a great name....  "Merry and Bright".....  here's a less than great shot of where mine stands at the moment....

... the linen is called stormy sky or something like that and is way more blue than this picture lets on.  I have changed up most of the floss from the recommended list....  the chart can be found at "Stitcheree" and was designed by Erynne.  It's what is on the snap this weekend.

That about does it for the week sports fans, thanks for stopping by and for all your kind comments and emails!!  Have a super weekend!

Take care,
edgar

  3. I have some similar linens like this also in Silkweaver Rock-A-Bye in a blue/pink and in Silkweaver Solo in a lilac/blue shade. I haven't decided on a stitchy for them yet.

This Christmas design will look great :)

    Have a good weekend.

  4. No. I can't believe you didn't want a new start. Life is worth living for the new start! I would just like to find a minute and a half to stitch lately. Is this the piece with the plum pudding? I love that one.

  6. Not in the mood for something new? Have Rico check you for a fever! Are you sure you're not sick?

Love the colors on the "non-new" piece. Can't wait to see your progress from my little old phone. I miss my laptop. Sniff.

  10. It will be fun to see what goes in all the little "frames" on your stitchery. By the way, I made your spicy apple cake recipe this week and it is terrific! Thanks for sharing.
