I am right...Edgar, my dear, you are a WIP amateur! I am right up there with Coni and a few others. I count anything that I've made a commitment to stitch and started as a WIP. I have active and inactive WIPs. Active = 5, Inactive = >40 but who's countin'.
I have a tendency to concentrate on finishing a piece when I am about 3/4 of the way complete. The other stitching then languishes. Right now, my lovely Beatrix Potter is the focus piece.

I love your blog and your stitching! I visit often. And just like you, at *work* I dream of my stitching. I work at niah, quilt, sew, and paint. My stratigie is to have long, med, and short term projects. Then I get the thrill of compleating something (short term) and the goal of eventually finnishing a large project. At least that is my theory, or story. My WIPS -- never mind my stitching paraphernalia -- filled an entire box...and that did not include any UFOs. The mover's just did not seem to understand when I kept telling them "this one, that box" -- "no no, this one goes over here in this box".... Somehow it really annoyed me that they did seem to understand the 45 different fishing poles hubby needed packed up. Afterall, you have completed all of the chart that is currently available. I LOVE the colors you chose for that! Also love that Quaker with the similar color scheme.
